What is the Omaha Corporate Games?
The Omaha Corporate Games is a company based competition that takes place every fall. Through healthy competition, the Games promote and enable teamwork, company pride and corporate wellness. Events include both competitive and non-competitive, in-person and virtual events.
What is the purpose of the Omaha Corporate Games?
- To promote physical activity and overall fitness among employees of Nebraska businesses, municipalities, and government entities through competitive sports and recreational events.

When does registration for the Omaha Corporate Games take place?
Company registration is open until the Games reach capacity at 50 companies. Early registration is encouraged to secure a spot.
What is the company’s investment for the Omaha Corporate Games?
Until Jan. 31- $2,000

Who is eligible to compete?
The Omaha Corporate Games is open to any company, municipality or government agency or department in Nebraska. Participation is for regular employees (full or part-time) and interns. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
How large does a company have to be to participate in the Omaha Corporate Games?
Companies of all sizes can participate. Once registration is complete, companies are grouped into divisions based on their size. Companies with fewer than 75 employees can join forces with other small companies to compete as one team (combined total of employees cannot exceed 100).
How do employees sign up for events?
Once a company has registered, employees can use the Omaha Corporate Games Dashboard to view events and declare interest. For team sports and limited-capacity events, the company administrator or sport captain will determine who competes in each event.
What if an employee wants to enter multiple sports and events?
Employees are allowed to compete in multiple sports and events. In limited-roster events, the company administrator decides which employees will participate.
How many participants can a company have in each event?
Most in-person team events have limits on the number of teams and roster sizes. Specific limits for each event can be found on the Sports page. Most individual competitive and non-competitive events have no participant limit.
How do you win events?
Companies compete against others of similar size based on number of employees. Points are awarded to the top five finishers in each event based on a point system. These points accumulate throughout the Games to determine the overall winner in each division.
Are there company awards?
One company from each division will take home the Omaha Corporate Games Title Belt, awarded to the company with the most points at the end of the Games. Medals are given to participants of the top three teams in each division for most team sports, and Champion Banners are awarded to the top company in each event.
Are companies required to have uniforms?
Companies are encouraged to be creative and provide a company t-shirt or jersey for their employees, but uniforms are not required for most events.
How can companies become sponsors?

What if I have a dispute?
Only disputes/protests based upon eligibility of athletes will be considered. Protests based upon play situations and those that involve judgment on the part of officials will not be accepted.
After the contest has begun, the decisions of the officials are final.
A protest must be declared to the lead official and site director while the disputed game is still in progress and submitted to the designated sport director or site director in writing detailing the grievance within 1-hour of the decision or the game.
Protests will be resolved at the discretion of the Nebraska Sports Council in accordance with the policies of the Nebraska Sports Council and/or the sport’s national governing body.
