Canned Food Drive

Dates: ALL Divisions – Drop-off week: Monday, September 8 – Friday, September 12

Site: Food Bank For The Heartland – 10525 J St, Omaha

Time

Drop-off between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Notes

  • Companies are allowed ONE drop-off time during the competition week.
  • Companies are responsible for delivering their own donations to the Food Bank For The Heartland during the competition timeframe.
  • Let the Food Bank staff know you’re competing in the Omaha Corporate Games when you drop off your donations.
  • Donations will be weighed after drop-off. Winners will be determined by the total weight of food donated.
  • Boxes are available for pickup at the Food Bank Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
  • Most needed food items include: peanut butter, macaroni & cheese, canned tuna & chicken, cereal, pancake mix, canned fruit & vegetables, pork & beans, pasta & sauce, boxed meals, and rice.
  • SPECIAL NOTE: The Corporate Games Canned Food Drive competition is for employees of registered companies only. Companies with high public foot traffic are encouraged to host a separate food drive to support the Food Bank For The Heartland’s mission.

Eligibility

All donations must come from regular employees (full or part-time) or interns of companies registered for the Omaha Corporate Games.

Point System

1st Place – 600 Points
2nd Place – 500 Points
3rd Place – 400 Points
4th Place – 300 Points
5th Place – 200 Points

Companies that don’t place in the top five will receive 100 participation points.
